A Fitting Farewell
13 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I often wonder if this show is taken itself too seriously or its actually doing the opposite and the joke is on all of us viewers. This episode, for how stupid the title is, is actually a well strung piece of television, and one that marked a fitting end for another Legend leaving the show.

The last episode dealt with Stein's death and the impact he made on the show throughout its run. This episode, whilst yet again bringing back the younger version of Stein, continued the emotional fallout of Stein's death but also provided some much needed humor amidst Jax's departure from the show.

Damien Darhk as Odin (in a god awful wig? Sara traveling to another dimension? Vikings? A plot centered around a Beebo toy (so clearly representing a tickle me elmo)? Yep, it's just another day at the office for Legends of Tomorrow. Most of all, however, was the brilliantly handled Jax departure. That's two episodes in a row that this show made me feel semi-emotional towards a character, a first (and probably last) for this show. In all, the tone was effortlessly balanced and the surprises were scattered throughout. That's how you do it.
