THE VOID is another poor collection of short indie horror films which has been roughly stitched together and released as a whole in a bid to make some cash. I wish they hadn't bothered. Most of the short films collected here are completely useless, failing in the basic ways: bad acting, barely thought-out plotting, lame scripting. They appear to have been made by students. The one thing they all have in common is that they feature one single male character either talking to or being filmed by a single static camera in a single room.
