THE ROMANTIC MATRON is an episode from halfway through the second series of THE SAINT. The story takes place in Argentina and involves a girl mixed up with political dissidents. There seems to be a strong Bond influence on this one with Roger Moore repeatedly battling hired henchmen in his hotel room and the like. The solid supporting cast includes a returning John Carson alongside Patrick Troughton and Ann Gillis as the femme fatale.
