Woman on the Run (2017 TV Movie)
2/10
She's a Mystery Writer - this film though is a comedy of errors and a waste of time
5 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
You have a nut case for a nanny, she is a blonde bimbo named Greta March (Lindsay Maxwell) who is sleeping with the mystery writers useless husband named Mark Gardner (Jim Thorburn) and both of these greedy lovers are plotting to kill mystery writer Nomi Gardner (Sarah Butler) to cash in on a secret 1.5 million dollar estate Nomi was given via a will by her deceased overseas cousin, and to also take away Nomi's two children by stealing Nomi's identity by switching identities with the nanny Greta March.

There are two other characters in this convoluted crapper named Oscar (Matthew MacCaull) who is the hotel bellboy and Nomi's knight in dull armor, and the two conspirator's henchmen is a guy named Lyle (Josh Byer). Lyle reminds me of the manufactured robot from 1939's Frankenstein, he is dumber than a stump and just takes orders from whomever is directly in front of him.

If you do choose to watch this made for TV so-called thriller/mystery where the innocent mother/mystery writer Nomi Gardner is being set up to be murdered and have her identity stolen by their bimbo nanny Greta March and her cheating husband Mark so that they can benefit from their victim's Nomi's inheritance, it won't take you very long to realize that this film is so ridiculous that even a bad dream would be more believable. I won't provide any insight or spoiler to the film's outcome because in this case, any ending would have stunk.

In this case the saying "snooze you lose" would mean you came out a winner by what you did NOT miss.

I give this boring film a 2 out of 10 rating.
