Or how about the spy movie genre? There is literally so much going on in this world that would make for an entertaining tale, that no one even has to come up with anything on their own. They could embellish any existing story in our world's history and have a good storyline, but no, they went ahead with another trite, been-there, done-that, man in a black leather jacket fighting corruption, straight to DVD, too boring to watch while stoned, too stupid to watch while sober, movie.
