Daughter of the Sun God (aka Lost City of Gold)
18 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Early 60's, definitely not great, adventure film. A trio of adventurers go on a trek through jungle and desert to find a lost Inca city and a fabulous treasure. Of course there are good guys who want to preserve what they find and bad guys who want to make a buck and are not above killing. Though the principle actors are American, they sound like their own voices were dubbed in. The hero's voice sound like another actor, maybe Robert Fuller from Wagon Train and Emergency. Not terrible, but even though the film is only about 71 minutes long the journey makes it seem longer. The film needs re-mastering. Since this is an obscure B film it is not likely to be restored. Recommended for fans of the genre.
