Okay, so the mermaid learned English too quickly and the erotic scene was forced. I still thought this was a good episode. Things are developed nicely. The mermaids keep be interesting as you're wondering when is the next time they snap. Liked the subplot with the two fishermen guys who are actually pretty entertaining together. I also like how nuanced Alex's differences with the rest of his family are. It's nice to see they aren't melodramtically at each other's throats.
