This continues to be a remarkable picture with its Indian backgrounds and wild beasts. The story is still most romantic, but is not very speedy in these two reels. We find the pretty heroine sold as a slave to the villainous Umballa. The series seems to be attracting some attention, but as the story is incomplete, little comment is possible. - The Moving Picture World, February 28, 1914
