What About Bob? is an episode which puts Eureka back on track with what worked so well for the series in season one. We have actual Sheriff work for Jack to do (as opposed to his typical attempts of helping to avert crises started by the local townsfolk), there is advancement on the Allison-Stark front; there is a wink-at-the-viewer subplot, and Eva is less abrasive. All nicely done. The primary plot of the episode is presented with a funky monster movie feel and look - which is strangely fresh for an old fashioned construct. There are some lovely surprises included in the episode as well. Overall it looks like Eureka is back on track.
