Thanks for the Memory
12 June 2018
While celebrating Rimmer's death day, a drunken Rimmer claims he only made love once in his life.

Cat later thinks that it might be one time too many. Rimmer tells Lister he would trade everything to have been in love.

When the crew wake up they find out four days have elapsed. Lister and Cat have both got a broken foot, the jigsaw puzzle has been complete, there are pages torn out of the diary and the black box is missing.

The crew go looking for the black box and encounter a message from Holly not to open the box. It seems Lister generated new memories to Rimmer as he felt sorry for Rimmer.

The episode has a solid sci fi concept of time passing which they have the crew have no memory of. Even though it is played for laughs here it later inspired an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
