Warning: Spoilers
Still in denial about the events of the previous episode, Will Robinson mournfully tries to contact his father via an old Morse code system, though in a moment of guilt fuelled rage he smashes the rock they recovered from the cave back in a previous episode. With the help of Hiroki, they determine that the rock is actually highly concentrated . . . droppings . . . . which can be processed by the Jupiter's to get back into the space in time, before the mothership disappears - but there is a catch, they need more and that means back to the caves, and where there's droppings... there's a predator to make them.

Another episode that is perhaps a little bit too patchy. The kids and the remaining castaways digging out the fuel whilst trying to remain silent doesn't work. It's derivative of a number of other films and I don't really buy that these smallish, flying birds are really the "Apex Predator" of the planet. . . they don't even look like the top predator we've seen in this series. And again, despite the Robinson children putting together the plan to save everyone, they are also the ones that put everything at risk by carrying a live radio into a room where everyone needs to remain silent. Why they then get a round of applause for getting everyone out when it's them that have put everyone at risk is a real head scratcher.

The other side of the story though, with Dr. Smith kidnapping Maureen to help her fix the robot, or his ship and get off the planet is much better - and ends with a novel twist on what we've seen so far and a shift in the power dynamics on the Jupiter.
