If only O'Loughlin died in a fire
14 July 2018
So the show was originally built on Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan's characters. That was what drew the execs to the show. What kept the audience was Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park.

When the two Asian actors left due to salaray discrepancies, O'LOUGHLIN said something to the effect of "we've got the actors who want to be here." He said that, despite the Asian actors carrying the show while he was in rehab. Way to support your castmates. He's nothing but another generic Hollywood pretty boy. This is his swan song. Whether Hawaii 50 lasts another season or 100, he's done when it's over.

Oh, and this episode was just BAD. Did O'Loughlin demand the scene where he took off his tactical vest, took off his short-sleeve shirt, put on another short-sleeve shirt and put his tactical vest back on? Because I don't think his shirtless chest is what brought anyone to the show. Ever.
