a reflection of wisdom

This movies stands out with its simplicity, much like 'Ankhon Dekhi' in the characters and basic environment of simple middle class family and their issues.

Movie starts with a simple yet so profound observation, which is also theme of the movie, it says "Jab cheezain aankhon kay pass hon to aksar dhundli ho jati hain, fir jab door hoti hai to saaf dhikhne lagti hai, lekin agar bohut door ho jaye to v dikhna band hojata hai"

All the characters in the movie are made with full attention and every actor did justice to their role. I really loved the character/role of "Batti" (brijendra kala), who in movie gifts everyone the things which others compliment, in first 10 minutes you'll witness this and start loving this character. "jutay? Yeh aapko achcha lag rhe hain? Jugnu (his son) meri chappal lekar aa (removes his shoes)... Wo Kolhapuri...Yeh (shoes) aaj se aapke hue...Hamara asool hai, jo cheez kisi ko pasand aa jati hai hum usko gift kardete hain". This was so sweet.

The movie have two couples, one are the Yashwant Batra and Kiran Batra and second Feroz and Suman. Feroz and Suman are the couple with so much love, and batra's were exactly opposite.

The climax, how things settles and how story end was little unexpected, but I am glad how they ignite the love between each other (the batra's). The story of feroz and suman and their pure love will shock you too. All of this will make you cry while simultaneously characters like Batti will make you smile.

Why this movie is named 'Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain'? Well I think it refers to the three magical words "I love you" which are word of angrezi, which our character Yashwant Batra didn't able to communicate well or express well with her wife but realised it much later.

Worth watching it, you will love it.
