Episode Two: Dirt
This episode is by no means as strong as the pilot; there wasn't much development, or enough clues to make me as excited as I was when I finished the first episode. But the direction in this episode is terrific! It created a special and unique atmosphere filled with suspense. It really kept me unsettled throughout the entire episode. Also, Jean-Marc Vallée succeeded in building Wind Gap town, and making it feels real, it really seems like an actual town that exists in our world. The characters of the town also have their own manners and behavior.
