Danial has a new student, which Danial does not realize is John's kid, who needs the approach of balance which Danial's Karate teaches. Both Zabka and Machio have a strong screen presence. The story unfolds of the forming of a rivalry of new Dojos. Creating the divide bigger Danial's daughter is dating Cobra Kai's star student. Cobra Kai is a balance of realism, soap opera, and action. Each character has there own motives and faults. The story goes full circle as Danial is Mr M teaching a lost younger version of Danial. This protege is angry has family and father issues. Looking at Danial as a father figure. I wonder if the talented protege will surpass the master one day. 9 stars.
