"Wishlist" tells the story of a mysterious app that is designed to fulfill wishes in exchange for more or less risky tasks. When a boy has a very personal wish, his task leads him and his friends to places and situations they had never desired to experience.

I really liked the general concept, although it pretty much reminds me of a book I once read, so I guess it's not totally inovative but rather adapting a previous concept. In my opinion the series looks very worthy for a German production and manages to have a more authentic design of youth. However, the plot is told incredibly slow and the whole show suffers under a lack of speed that makes it hard to believe that some episodes aren't just simply lengthened in order to meet a certain number of them. Furthermore it was not necessarily a good idea to involve famous german Youtubers, simply because they're not always talented actors. And lastly I have to say that some characters are so heavily overdrawn that it is sometimes hard to bear, which is sad because it ruins what could have been a great mixture of action, romance and social criticism.

All in all this is a series you can, but don't need to have seen. There are certain things to like about it and it is produced very professionally, but it also has its weaknesses that bother more and more over time.
