This is definitely a good original film it is very good and is actually enjoyable but what I have a problem with is the relationship between Micheal and Emmeline. When their both kids their relationship is like a small friendship but when they're both older they rarely show romantic communication or oftenly don't exactly act like they like each other.
I mean granted in some scenes Micheal does show that he cares about emmeline where she is nearly taken away by the men and when a big storm strikes the island. And with emmeline it's the same.
What I also find annoying is The baby's relationship with his father. When he is born Micheal is happy and weirdly laughing ( I was a bit wierdes out by it ) But when he grows up to be a toddler. Micheal rarely shows love for him mostly talking about how the kids miserable and how he sounds mad when he says how having him it was confusing.
Okay further all the movies good but the relationship between the main leads and the child eh.
