Review of Genius

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to write this so I could save you your time and money. The movie is so bad, it will make your worst movie experience look legendary in the first 5 minutes itself. The whole movie is like some school project of 14 year olds. The story is so ridiculous it could be trimmed into a 10 minute youtube video and would still not make much sense. The protagonist is the most cliché Bollywood hero you will ever see. He is IIT entrance topper who had lost his parents in childhood, constantly tops class, is a hacker who works for RAW and could do each and everything you can imagine hence proclaiming himself "genius". He could romance his love interest with such cheesy lines, any roadside dhaba can make food for a year with such cheese. The actress is just as an eye candy. Nawaj did not have a chance to save this and his scenes feels like improvs most of the time. The patriotism seems forced and so does the songs which comes every 10 minutes. Overall, I think it is an attempt to make it as a no-brainer telegu movie and still failing at it miserably. It could serve as an example of how a bad Bollywood movie should be.
