Francois Clousot's chintzy "The Next Morning" plays like a 1-day wonder of old, presenting pointless scenes with lousy set-ups pre-sex. It's so bad I almost longed for the lousy rom-coms Robby D. ground out like clockwork for Digital Playground 7 or 8 years ago.
Lena Paul stars in a nothing role as a girl who picks up Xander Corvus at a bar, sleeps with him (in the title-implied One Night Stand), has an argument with him next morning and then turns up in the unenviable position of having a job interview at a company he runs. End of stupid story, so let's get on with the pointless sex footage.
Britney Amber overacts miserably (she's usually quite good but not here) as Xander's wife who's the real boss of the organization, and she has sex with busty client Bridgette B. The tiny, rather uninteresting cast also features newcomer Jake Adams, boring in an extraneous sex in the office scene with Lena.
Britney doesn't even get a costume change in her role, evidence of what a "who cares?" quickie this shoot was.
