Regardless if you found this episode somewhat similar to Patterns or that it "lacked nuances" one thing that it spoke volumes of was the value of the worker as a real person versus automation or as we call it today "Technology". The contagion of "Mr. Whipples's need to squeeze every dollar, is reaching levels that have left many good people out of work. Oh, the line that people will operate the new machines once they "get the required training" is a lie. As a IT manager, I have seen many people forced to retire because of the "Mr. Whipples" of the world.
This episode was one of the best in my opinion.
