The Modern U.S. Air Force has most Airmen as Technicians, or Support like Logistics (Supply, Transportation, Logistics, Clerks). Only 1 % are "Air Warriors" as Combat Aircraft Pilots. . U.S. Marine Corps equals "Marines", NOT "Soldiers", Historically were the Armed "Poiicemen" aboard Ships to stop Mutiny of Unarmed Sailors, and carry out the punishment of Sailors as directed by Ship's Captain. Currently trained as Amphibious Beach Assault Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs). Marines are the "Warriors" of the U.S. Navy.
