Two Rival Assassins After the Same Target
13 October 2018
After his wife is raped and beaten into a coma by a drug lord named "Polo Yakur" (Ivan Kaye) an extremely skillful assassin named "Roland Flint" (Scott Adkins) retires in order to take care of her. Things change, however, when he hears that a contract has been put out on Polo and, although reluctant at first, accepts the assignment even though another assassin named "Vincent Brazil" (Jean-Claude Van Damme) has already committed to filling the contract. Needless to say, this places both assassins at odds with one another. Not only that, but both discover that they have been betrayed in the process as well. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that, despite the weak ending, this turned out to be an entertaining film for the most part with both Jean-Claude Van Damme and Scott Adkins performing quite well together and I have rated it accordingly. Slightly above average.
