Why oh why did they feel the need to end this whole thing in a one-hour ep? They could have skipped the nothingness that was EP 9 and then spend the money on a decent plot. Instead they spent it on a really dumb chase scene where one kid outsmarts 10 trained agents.
But the worst is how every interesting character is just killed off in a totally ridiculous way ending every mythology plot - old and new - in a totally ridiculous way. There was some buildup with the TV show, CSM moving closer and William having combustion powers but then POOF: Reyes, Skinner, William (did they think they would fool ANYBODY???) and CSM.
I really wonder what happened in the writer's room - was everybody just fed up? or maybe the budget was yanked away?
Personally I think they just didn't have a clue how to end this and gave up and said: let's just kill everybody so we can go home.
