So good I'm coming back for seconds! I watched this entire mini series in less than two days. The acting is flawless. The cinematography is stunning. The soundtrack compliments the atmosphere perfectly!
I wanted more. So much more, but I feel like restraint was used when it came to the writing which is a good thing. We really get everything we need, but I still wanted more! You simply cannot take your eyes off of Amy Adams not that you would want to. She portrays Camille Preaker with an imperfect perfectness. I enjoyed her performance immensely and desperately wanted to dive more deeply into her character. I wanted to know so much more because she's certainly a complex one for sure.
It's dark, disturbing, and mysterious and at times chilling and horrifying. I'm watching it a second time to absorb everything I may have missed before and it's just as delicious the second time around.
