Review of Overexposed

The movie moved along reasonably well. I was pleased at the decent acting. I was ready to actually like this movie but the actions at the end changed my mind. Then it went downhill. Was the hammer made of rubber? Was that a rubber shovel too? Why didn't the mom shoot the brother? If your daughter was in imminent danger, would you have a pointless discussion or would you shoot him? The entire sheriff election was not necessary. It really had no bearing whether the mom or the other guy was the sheriff. I enjoyed the realistic location scenes versus fake sets. Ultimately, I was entertained.
