Highly let down

This season took me by surprise. Almost everything seemed to be going great...until the finale. It seemed as if the writers knew what they wanted to do, but had no idea they were already on the season finale. With most shows in the world, it's okay to take your time and spread your plot into other seasons, but AHS is usually a one and done with a few callbacks.

Some of the scenes in the finale were great. It's hard not to recognize the very lazy writing and cringey dialogue. Cody Fern was a great addition to cast with little to nothing to do in this lackluster finale. I felt that Fern should have definitely been utilized a lot more than he was especially since the last two episodes spent time building his story up.

The finale was a huge let down but definitely had its moments. It felt as if this episode should have been three episodes or a much longer episode than 43 minutes. The ending was interesting as I was curious in the two younger characters that fell in love and were a mystery to the audience and essentially killed off without digging deeper into who they are. I believe we got what we should have gotten with them and no reason to really come back to that story as it'll just be a rehash of this season again.

Overall, the finale was a major letdown but definitely had its moments. I do however wish the writing was better for the finale as some of that dialogue was very corny.
