This episode was great and everything but what got me excited the most was that Scream tribute. The popcorn on the stove (just like Ghostface vs Casey Becker). Running up the stairs instead of out the front door (Just like Sidney Prescott did), and also JP coming in through the window to hug his high school girlfriend (Just like Billy Loomis did after Sidney was first attacked). Seeing as he was in Scream and did the same thing in that movie and with a very similar facial expression gave me chills.
This mystery is very interesting. I thought this was going to be a supernatural season on how it started and didn't mind it at all seeing as its loosely connected to Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but now it seems like they're going with a serial killer in a mask/costume route instead.
At the end of the episode I thought he was going to run off to Greendale and wish he did tbh which could have setup the one off episode of Sabrina coming out this December. A little sad they didn't as it could have worked out but understand why they chose not to.
