Into the dark - The body

I had high hopes for Into the dark, being an anthology series fan, but those hopes were sure shattered rightaway after episode 1. The genre isn't horror, first of all, no matter what kind of horror you might be into, this ain't it. The cast is rigid and wooden, and the viewer is often time confused as to what exactly the director was trying to convey here, and not in a sense that the plot would be so "sophisticated and intricate" you'd have to dwell on it for days, but more in a way one could slightly suspect and wonder if the episode would end with a bizarre plot twist and a cheap joke. This is a hard pass indeed. As someone who is patient with plots and enjoys slow burning shows and movies, even I seriously struggled to stay awake during this episode as it seemed to go on forever and amount to absolutely nothing. A vapid, unamusing, contemporary mess.
