Pleasantly Surprised!

Warning: Spoilers
I was a bit nervous about this episode, being such a lover of the novels. I understand changes have to be made when transitioning book to series - and I respect that to a degree. But staying to true to the story is important, and I had heard and seen some reviews to say this episode steered away to much. Well, I'm glad I do not agree with any of the reviews or comments I have seen. I loved this episode! I think a little time away from Jamie & Claire was refreshing. I love Bri & Rogers story and seeing it brought to life is so surreal, and I have to add that Sophie & Richard okay these characters so incredibly well. Ed as Stephen Bonnet - wow, what a character! They kept him true to the book - maybe a little better looking than I pictured, but still just as evil. Yes, the story differs from the novel - but the main information remained the same! So I fully accepted and enjoyed the changes! To be honest, I was captivated. Seeing more of Franks story was also interesting - and seeing the love he had for Brianna and how he had found out Claire goes back to the past at some point, because she died in the past - was a great little Easter egg thrown in there! It made sense as to why he just wanted to leave, take Brianna as to not risk her leaving him too and just let Claire go... I could go on, but I won't. Just watch it. Enjoy it. Don't think to much and just let it unfold! Next week is going to be emotional that's for sure!
