Back in 1950s the manic Pee Wee character was invented by Pinky Lee. The goofy host with a fun house was titled Lunch With Soupy Sales. Pee Wee was obviously inspired by these 1950s kiddy show icons. But I never understood why King Of Cartoons NEVER showed entire cartoon instead showing us edited version of a classic public domain cartoon with cutesy dancing bugs &/or flowers. Fans of Pee Wee should absolutely look into Souypy Sales reruns being shown on JLTV cable channel.
