Let me begin by saying that this is not a "zombie" movie. It's a "rabies" movie. Similar to the "rage virus" in 28 days later. While 28 Days Later, and it's sequel 28 Weeks Later, are better movies than Patient Zero that doesn't mean this movie has no merits. Patient Zero caught my, and my spouse's, attention right away and kept it throughout. The story is interesting and suspenseful. Stanley Tucci's character provided an interesting twist and the ending made us interested in seeing a sequel.
With an absorbing plot and a brisk pace this movie deserves a thumbs up.
