A teenager decked in nice designer clothes is found stabbed to death in the small seaside town of Peyton.
He is identified as Caden Lennon who had been in care with his younger brother in Newcastle.
Peyton is a town with growing youth delinquency and a drugs problem. Vera thinks that Caden might had been dealing in drugs and some of the local dealers are regarded as suspects.
Vera finds one drug dealer is particularly nasty and sinister.
These days with Vera anyone can be a suspect. Again the guest stars have their moment under the police lights.
However I did think the actual reveal was left field. Maybe something dark in one character was hinted at but it did not come off for me. Even the explanation from the murderer as to why made no sense.
