My issue with movies like this
30 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Is that the psycho's behavior should have been nipped in the bud from the start. True, then the movie wouldn't be 2 hours, but logically, it's hard to believe that certain things would happen w/o consequences. I'm pretty sure these agencies put in the contracts no-contact clauses (or rules at least that both parties must agree/adhere to). Thankfully the wife brought up going to the police, and of course in Lifetime's world, the husband is the hesitant one, but no. If you don't want her around you, and there is a contract about this transaction, you need to at least put something on record.

I'm 40 minutes in and I kind of think the surrogacy director (?) might be in on it? Not sure if she's old enough to be the woman in the flashback, but she's just too flippant about a potential issue where a surrogate she "vetted" is forcing herself on the adoptive parents. How are you not concerned about potential trouble to your business? I mean come on, at the 50 minute mark, what she's doing shoudl be considered stalking.

OK, while it's nice to see Mac from General Hospital, but even in here he's a terrible detective. This mess should stop and end at whether or not the surrogacy agreement requires her to stay away.

I'm getting so annoyed by this. I want to turn it off. Or I'll see if it's posted to Youtube and just FF to the end.

Garbage movie so far.

Edit: Annndddd I was correct in my suspicions. I will say that I'm glad that for almost all of the movie, the couple was "woke" to Hailee's behavior. It would have been even worse if they kept giving her the benefit of the doubt. I am glad that they stuck together and she didn't drive a wedge btwn them to where they were fighting each other or calling each other crazy. That is a change from the usual. IDK, I'll add a couple of stars to update my score. It was never that "thrilling" but I did end up watching it til the end.
