I was expecting just a few cheap laughs and a light hearted romp through the adoption process, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The filmtakes you on a couple's journey through the fostering and adoption programme. A subject that you'd assume would be difficult to deliver many laughs from, but it delivers on every level. The sarcasm, irony, and irreverent humour will have you laughing out loud. Credit must go to the script writer for being brave, putting one-liners in there that we all think, but dare not say out loud. The kids in the movie are great, but the two leads are excellent.
Their journey, the adoption process, their trials and tribulations therein, are what make this movie so funny. A very solid 8 out of 10 and one of the best comedies I've seen in a while.
