Review of The Testimony

An excellent indictment of what happens when soldiers rape women in the Congo - and in this case not much, as only two of the soldiers were sentenced (and we don't even know what kind of sentence they were dealt)

But we are given a both a strong sense of the lives and the struggles these women face. And some have at least been given a sense of empowerment and of their worth after this terrible tragedy occurred to them. This film is on a very personal level with searing testimonies
