Warning: Spoilers
Although a good episode, there was always something that never really clicked for me. It tries to be powerful and does make sense, but that didn't seem to be enough. It needed more coherence.

Pete is the lead singer of the high school heavy metal band, The Funky Tongues. He has never heard the word "no". He asks DJ on a date after getting a demo made from Jesse. She announces her date at the last minute. This causes the guys, ready to be at an awards show, to get in a state of panic.

With everyone out of the house, Kimmy babysits, with Stephanie reaping all the rewards. Michelle dogsits. This subplot is hilarious.

When the guys crash the date, things heat up, the guys apologize. Was the whole point of this episode for DJ to be clear? Was it to show parents make mistakes too? The point of this episode is muddled. Luckily, the good outweighs the bad
