Everything up to standard here.
Just a comment on Cassie's behaviour: when I was her age, I was seriously into horror literature. I was reading Edgar Allan Poe, Sheridan Le Fanu and the rest of the Gothic crew (Arthur Conan Doyle wasn't really horror, was he? :-~ ) At thirteen I read Dracula and couldn't sleep for three nights afterwards.
Since then, I've come to the conclusion that it's like fairground rides. I have realised that many of my own physical fears stem from my parents' failure to expose me to sensations when young: being on a roller coaster, being safely near a cliff edge, landing safely from a fall (actually, I worked that one out for myself, but my mother was appalled and I was made to feel unhappy that I'd tried.)... all that sort of stuff. Children need to be exposed to fear (in a safe, controlled environment... or maybe not!), otherwise they won't know how to deal with it when they (undoubtedly will at some time) experience it in reality.
Go, Cassie!
