I hated this movie. Other than really on-the-nose dialogue and directing, the story and the acting had a lot of potential. But the ending absolutely killed any chance of me liking it. It is such a trope to kill off the gay character or end the gay drama in tragedy to try and move the audience/ make them think. It's like weird emotional manipulation. There are so many other stories to tell that can be just as- if not more- moving and thought provoking. I'm so disappointed by the people who made this movie
