Not as good as the original series but it is still enjoyable

Warning: Spoilers
This show is more or less a spin off of the original it focuses on Renton and Eureka son Ao. I took long breaks when I was watching each episode so might not be able to give away too much of the plot nor I remember every bit of it.

In my opinion unlike the butt hurt fans of the original series it was a very enjoyable spin off. I am currently watching the original series I am past the first half of it and I am going to review after I finish watching it completely. I decided to watch this because I needed a bit of a break from the original and it worked.

Casting only watched one episode of the sub it was good but I watched it majority dubbed because I tend to mispronounce words, I have a eye hayfever from looking at a screen for a really long time especially with bright animation on top of that my dyslexia does not help. Although, the casting was a bit silt at times and it was sub par with Tony Olivers direction of the original series but I am glad they got both Johnny Yong Bosch and Stephanie Sheh back to reprise their role so good work on that Funimation. Also towards the end the voice chemistry with Micah Solusod and JYB especially since me along with a few other fans acknowledge how close their voices sound.

Animation/art style wise it was good and massive upgrade from the original. I especially like the pop art that they used in the end credits of the second half.

Music was also good though sub paired from the original.

Also, Truth was a pretty cool villian.

However, my only cons for the series was that Ao wasn't much of a very like able character nor had much development he was pretty much the same towards the end like he was at the start of the series, Renton only appeared for 3 episodes and should have had more screen time and non of the characters from the original series like Holland or Talho appeared, referred to or even mentioned whatsoever in the original. Also, I did not like what they did to team goldilocks towards later on in the series.

Either you love this series or you hate it. Signing Off.
