In recent years its very common knowledge that Simpsons has become a shadow of its former self. Don't get me wrong, I still watch it while eating dinner, I find the occasional chuckle come out, but nothing more.
This episode was a lazy attempt at woke-controversy, to be nothing more than a little bit more relevant. The episode itself is definitely an example of why The Simpsons writers are heavily disconnected from both their audience and what made Simpsons originally great.
BUT...
Don't be mad that they portrayed the males as 'incels' and the females as 'feminazis', be mad at the writers for boiling down genders into these stereotypes with lazy writing for the sake of controversy.
