A man who has spent five years in prison is released when new evidence surfaces. Nikki's testimony is crucial in his release. The problem is the guy is probably bipolar. He has a huge temper. Also, even though he is out, very few believe in him. An overzealous police officer is on the hunt because she had put him in prison years' before. The team is in constant conflict with her and Nikki is seen as obstructionist. Her biggest thing is when police charge without evidence. This is a really edgy episode.
