An interesting twist on your classical holiday film. The film lives through its main characters quirkiness ,that at times can be hit or miss, but overall is one of the strong parts of the film The simplicity of the story allows the main actor to shine and provide moments of dark comedy sprinkled throughout. The film teeters on the edge of both comedy and thriller but utilizes the tropes of each successfully. There's an undertone of suspense that's constant, which keeps the audience on their feet. Well done for a low budget film.
