Review of The Greatest American Hero

This TV series stars William Katt (Carrie, House), Robert Culp (I Spy) and Connie Sellecca. This is a combination of sci-fi, action & comedy that basically pokes fun and pays tribute to Comic Book heroes like "Superman." It focuses on mild-mannered, teacher, Ralph Hinkley (Katt) who becomes a chosen savior of Earth when a special suit is sent to him by UFOs. Unfortunately, Ralph loses the instructions to the suit and is a bumbling, superhero trying to wing it each time. Culp plays sarcastic yet humorous, FBI agent, Bill Maxwell who must work with Ralph and Sellecca plays Ralph's girlfriend, Pam Davidson who is a lawyer. This is an entertaining series, Katt and Culp are great in it and together, there's amusing moments, like the very dated, flying sequences where Ralph crashes/falls and I like the theme song. I recommend this, especially if you're into comic books or superheroes.
