There are so many plot elements working here that suspense disappears. Plus, it is likely the murderer is someone we know nothing about. Jack is developing a romance with the police lady. There is a barrister who has been using cocaine for years. There are two people involved in a hacking scandal, one of them ending up dead. There is Tom's daughter. What is she doing there just stirring the pot. Clarissa's ex- shows up again to save the day, techwise.
