There was a time that I thought I'd never have time to watch other language movies because of my love to Malayalam cinema, especially for the movies came in last 5-6 years. Though it never happened and I almost lost the interest because of the floppy movies came out recently, these types of movies make me love this cinema again.
This is a perfect script from Srinivasan, I didn't know the Writer Director combination has a history but I felt the chemistry between them is perfect. Sometimes I felt the change of the behavior of the main character doesn't have enough resolution. It's like he suddenly change himself from how he was the whole lifetime and become a different person after his plans went unsuccessful. But viewers can always fill the gaps in so no worries.
Fahadh Faasil was one of the reasons I fell in love with Malayalam cinema. His acting in Maheshinte Prathikaaram was one of the best acts I've seen and I've realized after watching almost all of his movies that he's not here to fail us. He dives into the character and become it. And then we don't see him anymore.
Also, the rest of the cast and music was excellent. And I know all the other technical and creative people behind this must have done their stuff perfectly to bring out a beautiful movie like this so hats off to them as well!
