This has to be the worst Sci Fi show ever and I cannot believe it has more to come. I think Seth Macfarlane to be a very talented man in many ways but in this case he must have blackmail material on the Fox execs who approved this diatribe of trash. It is a complete rip off of every sci-fi show that has gone before which would be fine if it was in any way watchable. Every single plot and 90% of the characters are rehashes which again would be fine if they had been represented properly. The acting (and CGI blob) is terrible and should be in a deli on a sandwich. Seth shows zero emotion (cool in A million ways to die in the west cos that was the character (still out acted by a sheep though)) but no good at all here. Even his godawful uniform doesnt fit! Support cast woeful and stereotypically cheesy. Aliens totally unbelievable except for original hot female Worf. All in all I can't believe it got more than a pilot when better shows ( e.g. Firefly) got canned. I've given it 2 because of the tried and tested concept but it really really needs to be consigned to a working transporter (cos apparently they are unbelieveable and shouldn't be on the show but time travel isnt and therefore should be ) and sent to a black hole never to be seen again. Sorry Seth I understand you love the genre but u aint no Roddenberry or Stewart (or even Shatner) please cut our losses and give us more of what you are good at.
