This wasn't a great movie, but I appreciate that it mixed sci-fi with high profile black issues such as police brutality. The characters made some dumb decisions, but were ultimately endearing and understandable. In my eyes, they acted like how teenagers would if they were suddenly put into a situation where they could either save or hurt lives with almost no in-between. The ending, however, did leave me upset rather than intrigued, and the tone was inconsistent. As another reviewer mentioned, it had the feel and look of a Disney film but contained very strong language. However, I am not opposed to watching it again, and it was an entertaining ride.
