Great performance by a great actress

Warning: Spoilers
Julianne Moore plays the title character as a woman in her 50's, divorced and looking to get back on the dating scene. The trailer is misleading and makes it look like just a fun movie. It is indeed a fun movie, but it is so much more than that. One night in a club she meets a man played John Turturro who is also divorced. They hook up and begin a relationship and everything seems great. Until he meets her family and he realises during the dinner that she still has deep feelings for her ex. He literally walks out the door without her even realising. Later he keeps calling her and so much to the point, where they do end up back together. But his family keep getting in the way. Julianne Moore as always is so amazing at creating a character you really root for. Her career has lasted a long time. Playing so many different characters, not always likeable. Her performance in this film is funny, heart wrenching emotional and really hopeful. These sort of movies aren't really made enough for older women these days. I hope that changes, because I really enjoyed this film. The soundtrack in it was amazing. I really think Julianne will get an Oscar nomination for this next January. If you love character driven pieces see this movie
