Otome youkai Zakuro (2010– )
A nice funny anime about demons and soliders working together

Warning: Spoilers
The other person who reviewed this thought this anime was for children, yes I agree it was lighthearted in some parts but it wasn't either. There were some scenes that I definitely wouldn't show to kids or even show the whole anime at all to them. In this anime, I liked the fact that the blond bombshell Agemaki wasn't acting all "high and mighty" as some good looking guy characters tend to do mostly. He spoke his own truth that he is afraid of demons and holds his cool whenever Zakuro is always peed off by his cowardness. I honestly thought the two were a totally charming couple regardless of their different personalities. I also liked Susukihotaru and Riken as a couple also. Riken may be serious but he really is passionate about Susukihotaru. The pair of them weren't seen kissing but I'm sure that part would have been added to the manga lol.

Anyways overall, I thought this anime was cute, hilarious in some parts, magical and most importantly, it added a good bit of history to it with involving the Japanese first trying out western stuff (I think this was set in late 18th to the early 19th century I believe?). 8/10 I give this anime!
