Regarding some of the bad reviews on here who rated this movie a 1. did we watch the same movie? I thought it was pretty good. You're being too harsh and picky. I enjoy offbeat humor and unique movies such as this one. I'm not too much into the movies out today, a lot of them are just remakes or bad romantic comedy movies, or comic book movies that just make me go "eh". I enjoyed this movie, def a great movie for any movie geek to watch, will be adding it to my collection. I loved the performances of all the actors, I thought they were great. The two young lead actresses, Colby Stewart and Brandi Aguilar, did incredible, they have great onscreen presence and you never get bored of watching them. It doesn't surprise me both Colby and Brandi won awards for their performances in this movie. I actually had the pleasure of watching Brandi Aguilar in another movie she was in as a teenage girl, 2006's Greed, an odd, yet underrated movie. Glad to see she is still in the movies as an adult.
I would recommend this movie to anyone who is into strange 80's movies.
